At the conclusion of every season, Top Tier would like to identify and honor outstanding teammates, players & leaders who have been recognized as tournament MVPs, selected by Top Tier staff/umpires or who have been recommended by opposing coaches. The event is held Friday evening through Sunday afternoon at The Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey, Wa. Friday night will feature individual skill competitions for players who register to participate in them. Competitions include but will not be limited to: Homerun Derby, Golden Glove, Golden Spikes, and Top Velocity.
Players are invited if they win a tournament MVP at any Top Tier event. They are also recognized as outstanding players by tournament staff and umpires throughout the season. We also encourage opposing coaches to nominate players who they coach against.
We put together 4 teams at each age division 9u – 14u. Each age division will consist of a team from a different region, Western WA – Central, Eastern Washington, Western WA – Northern & Western WA – Southern. Here are how teams are geographically divided:
Eastern Washington: East of Snoqualmie Pass (Ellensburg, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Spokane, Idaho, etc)
Western Washington – South: South of Puyallup (Puyallup, DuPont, Lacey, Olympia, Centralia, Grays Harbor, Vancouver, Portland, Oregon, etc)
Western Washington – Central: Between Puyallup and Auburn (Puyallup, Tacoma, Auburn, Gig Harbor, Bremerton, Kitsap Peninsula, etc)
Western Washington – North: North of Auburn (Kent, Maple Valley, Seattle, Edmonds, Skagit, etc)
Locations can vary based on participants but we will do our best to keep teams balanced and geographically centered.
Players receive a hat & dri-fit jersey to represent their region. They also can participate in any skills competitions at no additional cost. Players will participate in a minimum of 3 games and maximum of 4. There will be a championship award and individual MVP and MV-Pitcher as well.
YES! Players will be evaluated by staff from Northwest Elite and PAC NW Regional Baseball to participate on a Northwest Elite Experience Trip (players going into 11u – 15u) and for the older players, an opportunity to be evaluated for the PAC NW Games (players going into their Freshmen – Junior seasons).
